YOUR Input Matters in the Cedar Park Vision Plan

Updated: Sep 1, 2020

We want to hear your dreams for the future of this treasured neighborhood park!

Do you live near or regularly use Cedar Park? Do you have ideas for how Cedar Park could be enhanced and preserved for future generations to love and enjoy? Are you concerned about changes you’re seeing in or around the park?

If so, we need to hear your voice!

Friends of Cedar Park is a group of local residents who are interested in learning more about what the community wants from the park and how it can better serve the neighborhood.

Through a grant from Park Pride, we have an opportunity to create a vision plan for Cedar Park. This vision plan will make recommendations for future investments in a way that is responsive to community concerns. Your opinion is critical to the long-term success and stewardship of this much-loved and valued greenspace.

Step one: Take the survey

Step two: Plan to attend an online public meeting

Public engagement sure does look different these days! Since COVID-19 has become a part of our lived reality, we will be using online and digital tools for engagement.

The Friends of Cedar Park and Park Pride will be hosting a series of virtual public meetings this summer and fall to collect ideas and get input from neighbors on the future of Cedar Park through Park Pride’s visioning program in partnership with the DeKalb County Department of Recreation, Parks, and Cultural Affairs.

Sign up for these meetings by clicking on "Participate" in the menu above and selecting each meeting you wish to attend. If you'd rather not use Zoom, that's okay! We will be streaming these meetings on this website.

We hope you will join us!
