Last week, Park Pride, along with DeKalb government and community partners, hosted the first ever virtual park visioning meeting for Cedar Park. Over 50 people tuned in through Zoom or watched the live stream on the website to offer big ideas for the park's future! We are so grateful to everyone who gave some of their time to participate and give us input.

Many of the questions we asked produced "word clouds." These take words that appear more often in people's answers and make them bigger on the screen, so the bigger the word is, the more people typed that word into their answer. This helps so much with understanding community priorities!
All of your input (both from this meeting and the survey) will go into drafting Guiding Principles that will govern the park vision plan. These Guiding Principles will be shared at the next public meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, October 13 - along with draft designs for Cedar Park.
